How long does the band play for?
The standard playing time is 2 sets of 50 or 3 sets of 45 minutes, with a break of approximately 25 minutes between each set.  However, if you would like more or fewer sets, this can be discussed.
Can I have longer or shorter sets?
Yes, with prior discussion we are able to fit the music to the timings of your event.
How many musicians are in the band?
The band is a flexible outfit, but we find that a quartet suits background music and a sextet to octet for dance events - although other options are available for your specific requirements.
What style of music do you play?
We are a band that plays both Latin American music and jazz.
Can I have a mixture of both?
Yes, we find both styles are frequently requested to provide an event with an eclectic sound.
How much space do you require?
We require surprisingly little space as half the band will be standing, though room for instruments and equipment is a priority.  As an approximate guide; a four piece band would need a space of 3 metres (width) x 2 metres (depth) and a six-eight piece, 4.5 m x 3.5 m
What other facilities are required?
A minimum of two mains (3 pin) power sockets need to be located in the performance area along with a room for changing and storage.  Outdoor events need suitable cover over the performance area.
What is the cost?
This will be based upon your particular request, e.g. taking into account the size of band and the number of sets.  Please contact us for precise costings.
